Bit Trip Void was developed by Gaijin Games and published by Aksys Games. It was released for download on November 23rd 2009.
Bit Trip Void puts players in control of a black pixilated circle called the void. The objective of the game is to collect all the black blocks all the while trying to avoid the white ones. The twist is that every black block you collect will make the void bigger, so players have to time when to collapse the void. The longer you can keep the void with out collapsing it results in more points. But if you allow a white block to hit the void it will burst and you will lose points.
Bit Trip Void retains the same (if not more) level of challenge found in Bit Trip Beat. But Trip Void also features the same type of unique soundtrack found in the first game, this time around the soundtrack is a mix of techno and 8-bit themed music. Lastly like Beat, Void also has a co-op mode but now its only two players.
In Graphics the whole theme of the game is based on the classic 8-bit style of games in the early 90s late 80s. Once again this suits the game perfectly. In Gameplay Void has a completely different style of gameplay than Beat but the game still retains the same challenge and fun as the first.
Overall Bit Trip Void is yet another masterpiece kudos to Gaijin Games on that. Everything that made Bit Trip Beat awesome is found in this game and the new gameplay style is commendable. Once again my only problem with the game was the lack of online leaderboards. If you liked Bit Trip Beat you will love Void and at 800 wiipoints this is a game every Wii owner should own. Bit Trip Void gets a 10 out of 10.
